The Slovak Mission in Chicago cordially invites you to join us for a special evening of tradition and celebration at the Slovenská Štedrá Večera - Slovak Christmas Eve Dinner.

Join us for a festive evening filled with cultural richness, delightful cuisine, and the warmth of the holiday season. 

The schedule for the evening is as follows:

Program:

• 3:00 PM- Svätá omša (Holy Mass)
• 4:00 PM - Otvorenie dverí (Door Open)
• 4:30 PM Performance by Children’s Slovak Folklore Dance Ensemble Veselička
• Followed by traditional štedrá večera dinner

Dinner Menu:

• Oblátky s medom (Honey Wafers)
• Domáca kapustnica (Homemade Sauerkraut Soup)
• Zemiakový šalát (Potato Salad)
• Vyprážaná ryba (Fried Fish)
• Opekance s makom (Sweet Poppy Seed Dumplings)
• Domáce záviny (Homemade Strudels)
• Zákusky a ovocie (Desserts and Fruits)
• Káva (Coffee)
• Fľaša bieleho vína (Bottle of White Wine)

• Adults: $60
• Seniors (65 and older): $50
• Children (3 to 13 years): $20
• Children (under 2 years): Free
